Gress_Camp_imageIf your child is entering 3rd-9th grade next year, don’t forget to register for the last week of Ranch Camp, held from August 4-8, 2014.

Enjoy a fun-filled week on a real working ranch! Activities include horsemanship, donkey cart rides, needle-felting, storytelling and more! Learn the care and feeding of pigs, donkeys, goats, alpacas and horses. Shadow a real veterinarian and see his mobile vet clinic. Learn about conservation and the environment and build your leadership skills. Daily themes include Team Work and The Spirit of Volunteerism. On the final day, we’ll celebrate with a lunch party and a day of games.

Ranch Camp 2014: Registration is now open!

Gress_Camp_imageRegistration is now open for kids entering 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. Three weeks to choose from. Cost is $200 per week. Sponsorships may be available for low-income families. Contact us for details.

The Gress Mountain Ranch is a sanctuary where abused and neglected animals are given life-long care to recover and thrive. In turn, the animals become therapy animals and have a big job to help people learn to improve their self-worth, communication skills, and learn respect for all livings beings.

Open Gate Farm Tour!

Sunday October 20, 2013 at The Gress Mountain Ranch, 1pm – 5pm

✸Petting zoo, bake sale, food stands, donkey cart rides, autumn crafts, barn sale items, Polish ice, a raffle, and LIVE music! All contributions go toward the enlargement of the small animal room✸

The Gress Mountain Ranch is involved with the Lehigh County Cooperative Extension, and as part of TheOpen Gate Farm Tour, the ranch will host an event on Sunday October 20th, 2013 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

There will be a petting zoo, which will introduce some of the rescued animals including ponies, alpacas, goats, and pot-bellied pigs! There will be educational talks, a live Band with music by The Rotten Apples, presentation by Leading Edge Martial Arts, bake sale, food items, a raffle, barn sale, and pony and donkey cart rides.
