I saw your post on free-cycle (sorry, no microwave to donate ... I'm sure you will get one quickly thru f-c!) ... but was intrigued by what the post stated... so looked up your website. I'm still resettling into this area & job hunting, but have been on the look-out for potential volunteer opportunities. looking forward to getting back in touch with you once I'm in a position to make such a commitment.

Animal-Assisted Activities with therapy animals, like at TGMR encourage reminiscence and social interaction and result in stress relief and incidental physio-therapy. Medical studies and research presents that blood pressure may be lowered and even hospital stays shortened when patients have access to the human-animal bond. Often, just helping the animals and "talking to the animals" can be the high point in your day and transform your mood and thought pattern. Animals of all types can certainly bring happiness and a sense of calm and well-being.

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less from people but more from yourself.

You have two choices... smile and close this page,
or pass this along to someone else to share the lesson

I wish I was living closer to you to help out. I currently live just outside of Columbus, Ohio but I was born and grew up in Bangor, Pa. My father was Edmund F Gress Jr. I would gladly move back to the area if I could afford it and had a place to live. I believe that everyone can help everyone else if they had the mind to.

New Year Wishes New Year wishes are indispensable part of New Year celebration. Every time we usher a new year with much enthusiasm and look forward to fulfill all dreams and desires. The tradition here at The Gress Mountain Ranch is therefore to wish 'Happy New Year' to friends and family at the beginning of a new year. Thanks so much for being part of the Gress family. The tradition of New Year wishes is as old as the celebration of the event itself. The Gress folks, Ben and Kathryn wish happiness and prosperity to you and yours during the New Year. For TGMR, The New Year is the time to review the happenings of the past year and continue with our positive approach towards the coming year to make it the most successful for the people and animals we serve. During the New Year time we turn to motivation and inspiration, looking toward 2015. It is also the time to make fresh commitments and look forth at the new beginning. New Year wishes are: Hope it’s happy, healthy, lucky too, and filled with peace the whole year through. As we wrap up the old year and bring in the new, we are most grateful to have outstanding folks like you, supporting and caring for the animals and the people, at The Gress Mountain Ranch. .
